Jennifer Herrick - Executive Director of Jump On Board for S

At the helm of the Jump On Board for Success (JOBS) is Jennifer Herrick. First and foremost, she is a lover of Jesus. She is a wife to Greg and mother to three kids. She has an associate degree in Small Business Management and a certificate in Restaurant Management. Jennifer has been in the restaurant industry for 20+ years having owned a bakery (Twisted Treats), helping open Lil’ Bit Café and working for numerous chain and independent restaurants.

When Jennifer came to the JOBS program in 2016 seeking to volunteer through Grace Church, she had an idea to create a culinary program for the teens. The JOBS Director at the time loved the idea and told her to make it happen.  The vision was to teach participants how to cook for their families, shop wisely, prepare items that can be frozen and more. The Culinary Arts program has now grown to three six-week courses.

Jennifer stepped in as Acting Director at the end of 2019 and became the official Executive Director in 2020. At the beginning of 2021, she launched two new job skills programs which include Information Technology and an Entrepreneur Group. In 2022, Jennifer added two additional programs, Business Administration and Early Childhood Education.
